As a young girl, in the midst of other activities, I would always find my way back to my favorite toy - the crayon box. It seemed as though I could usually figure out a way to make drawing a part of everyday childhood activities. The older I got the more intrigued I became. The most memorable and favorite parts of my school years were those involving art.

Taking my childhood love seriously, I studied fine arts and art history, graduating in 1997 with a specialization in painting and drawing. I continued working as the in-house artist for a large upscale retail chain for the last 9 years. During this time, I have also enjoyed adding special touches to both residential and commercial spaces; large scenic murals, decorative accents, and fun whimsical designs in children's rooms. I have been fortunate that my career in design has allowed me to be a stay at home mom. My two young, adorable, yet active boys certainly keep me busy, but when I do find time to paint it is very rewarding, and sometimes they even get to join in the fun too!
